Iam wondering if the ancestor you speak of is related to my grandfather who left Ireland in about 1900s. He married a plymouth (England) girl we think inapprox:1901.He died a recluse at Wrangaton South Brent England in1947.I would love to trace the Dublin side of the family as i am very proud of my Irish roots.there is nobody alive now who can tell me anything else.He was a stauch RC.& was in the Irish guards. He was a keenpidgeon breeder & many were used during the war to convey messages.I don't know if he ever left any family in Ireland when he joined the Irish GUARDS as i believe he must have been posted over here in England.Hence meeting &marrying my grandmother Emily.Any more info would be greatly appreicated.Yours Truly jean punter.
