I am researching the name Fleming / Flemming ... with many of the family in the central Illinois area after arriving from Ireland.

On November 24, 1879 William Flemming married Mary Coady in Talorville, Illinois. The marriage certificat is a little hard to read, but it appears that Mary was from South Fork (Christian County) and was 28 years old. This would put her birth in 1851 if my math is correct. Not quite the date of your mary, but the name is right and so is Christian County.

Finally, I can barley read the document, but I believe that her father was Martin Coady and her mother was Mary Murphy. Martin is also mentioned in your note.

Would love to hear from you and to work with you to figure this out!

Bill Flemming
