Dear Cousin:-
When I visited you last summer I promised to send you a copy of the record prepared by Sister Edna Marie of the descendants of the Coady family. You
are I presume interested largely in the descendants of James Coady one of
the four brothers who came out from Ireland. He is of course your great grandfather and my grandfather .
In the record made by Sister and typed, it would appear that she obtained further information and this she wrote in by hand, and in red ink. I have copied these additions on the copy I am sending you. The original with the red notations I have sent to a cousin in Boston, Miss Clara MacDonald. She it was who did all the typing over the years for Sister over the years. I thought, therefore she should have the originals .This Clara MacDonald in case you don't know is the daughter of "Aunt Nellie" as I called her, your grandfather's sister .
It occurs to me you may be interested in the four brother immigrants all of whom settled in the Margaree area, and if you are I shall be glad to send you a summary that I have prepared, largely from notes left by Sister.
I am keeping well and if I live another two weeks or so I will be celebrating my 9lst birtlmy.
Hope you are both keeping well.
With every good wish.
Yours singerely,
