I am seeking information about the Rev. James Johnston Coale and his wife Arabella.
Rev. Coale was liscensed and ordained by Baltimore Presbytery. He came to Huntingdon Presbytery to serve the Sinking Valley Presbyterian Church in Tyrone Township, Blair Co, PA in 1870. His wife Arabella, was received into church membership on certificate from the Broadway Presbyterian Chruch of Baltimore. In 1892, Rev. Coale resigned and moved family to Mt Holly, NJ to take charge of a school located there.
Their children inclulded:
George Edward Coale
Margaretta Bella Coale
Agnes Lilly Coale
Grace Elizabeth Coale
Anna W. Coale
James Johnson Coale
Helen Mill Coale
Sidney Thompson Coale
I am particularly interested in Arabella's ancestors because her niece, Ellen "Nellie" Jane (Parker) Morrow, is my husband's grandmother.Little is known of the Wiley-Parker family. Therefore, I am trying to approach them through the Coales.
Any information would be appreciated.
