Hi Helen,
The Cobia Book lists Mary Cobia and Isaac Donovan only twice, with no connections to other family members. On page 557 the author says " Several Cobias were found in Charleston records that have not been linked in their proper place in the Cobia family. I give the following references in hopes that someone will be able to tell us where they fit into this family." Mary COBIA married Isaac Donovan on 6 Mar 1788 in St. Phillips Church, Winyah Parish.
On page 566 it just shows the list of 6 Cobia's married in St. Phillips. Sorry there wasn't more! Lynn
