Susannah Richbourg born c. 1774, in Charleston SC. She was the daughter of Claudius and Unity Fox Richbourg, who was the son of Claude Philippe Richbourg and Anne Chastain. Claude Phillippe Richbourg and born in Saintonge, ST. Severe, Berry, France and died aout 1720, Santee SC. Susannah Richbourg was born in Charleston, SC. She married 1st Michael Cobia, who was born c. 1754, son of Daniel Cobia, line of Charleston SC., “The line and descent of Daniel Cobia from 1714.” Michael Cobia was born c 1754, he married 1st Elie Julanne Drenar Jan. 23, 1774, Their children were Unity Cobia b. 2-4-1782, Susannah Cobia Christened 2-12-1785, and, Sarah Cobia b. 5-24-1786 Lutheran Church, Charleston, SC. Michael Cobia married 2nd Susannah Richbourg about 1788. They had son John Cobia b. c. 790. Michael Cobia died bout 1790, and Susannah Richbourg Cobia married 2nd Robert Gilly 3-10-1795. Michael Cobia was living in 9-25-1785 as he received a plat of 640 acres in Clarendon, Sumter by Unity Richbourg, Hester Richbourg and Frierson. “Cobias History.”
On the 1800 census of Clarendon, Sumter SC pg 604, Robert Gilley between 26/44, born between 1776 and 1794,
