Kansas Cockeys

I am looking for information about the Cockeys who lived in Kansas in the latter part of the 19th century up to the mid 20th century. My great-great uncle, Thomas R. Cockey (born in 1838, son of John Robert Cockey) moved from Baltimore County to Kansas with his wife and children sometime after the 1870 Census. I have run into several Cockey names (in cemetery records, etc.) in Kansas, but have not been able to connect them with the Cockeys in Maryland, or to Thomas R. Cockey. The only exception to this is Melchor Gist Cockey in Salina, Kansas (son of Peter Fowble Cockey), who I have connected to Maryland Cockeys. If anyone has information on any Cockeys who lived in Kansas, I would appreciate getting it. Thanks!!
