I am very interested in some history of Thomas Deye Owings , US. Infantry Captain Joseph C.Belts company commanded by Thomas Deye Owings. 1812 war . Time frame from January 1814 thru June 1814.<possibly longer>

What I am looking for is , I have history of my gggrandfather from Ky. war records, but I can't find the actual war they were in . I am guessing the Thames.Or the burning of the White house. Possibly the war at raisin river.

I am also trying to find , where I could get additional information about my gggrandfather's records, hoping some infantry records will show something about his history of were he was at the time he enlisted. <and his parents names>or spouse's maiden name

I have been looking for any war records that might lead me in the right direction. I , thinking since his Commander was Thomas Deye Owings, you might be able to help or give me some suggestions.

In hopes of hearing from you. Thank you for your time. And great history of Thomas Deye Owings.
