I am sorry but my information pertains mainly to the Cockey family. Any other surnames related to the family: Deye, Owings, Hammond, Slade and others, I am very limited on. I is interesting to see that the Owings family that moved to Illinois were supporters of the Union, while their Maryland cousins were Confederates. Let me know if you need specific information on any Cockey descendants. I'm sure I can help.
