Jim, thanks for the reply. I have been tracking my tree for several months and have gotten some erroneous data that has slowed me down. the DAR has admitted several members whose stated lineage is in error and they know it but have not corrected it! The SAR also have at least 1 member with the same issue! It all deals with the Boone family of Anne Arundel County and their connection to the Cockey family.I have no idea how these connections were proved but DAR members #54668, 74701 (my gr. gr. aunt) 18332 & 35069, appear to be in error! I have used the book on "Anne Arundel Gentry" by Harry Wright Newman as my source for the families connection!
