I have finally been able to check the family records on Laura Cockey. Now that I look at them more carefully I'm not so sure this is the same person you are looking for but I will give what information I have. Laura E. Cockey born 1852 daughter of Charles Owings Cockey and Emily Jane Cockey. She was born at the family estate in Cockeysville, Maryland. I have recorded that she married a Joseph A. Bosley in 1874, they had six children; Charles, Clinton, Moro, Emily, Lettie and Laura. Laura Cockey Bosley's youngest brother, Sterling is my great-great-grandfather. If this is the Laura Cockey you are looking for please let me know so that I can send you more information on her ancestors. This is the only Laura that I have listed in all of the family records that I have, but that doesn't mean that there isn't another one there are several branchs of the family that moved out of Green Spring Valley/Cockeysville area that I do not have information on.
