I can hardly wait for your next installment :-) I also have a Thomas Hammond 1666-1725 in my line. This Thomas Hammond married a Rebecca (Larkin) Lightfoot. He had a daughter Susanna b.1698 who married John Orrick. He also had a son named Thomas but I have no data on him. This sounds like it could be the Col Thomas Hammond who married Anne Cockey. Their were 8 other siblings. I realize this is of no consequence but interesting just the same. Mary Slade, Aunt to Elizabeth Slade had James Orrick as her 3rd husband. Sarah Ann Orrick was the mother of J.A. Bosley who married Laura Cockey. Sarah Ann Orrick is descended from Capt. Nicholas Orrick through his son John and his son Daniel.
