History of many of the Cockey Family members

I have a copy of the noted Maryland Genealogist, Robert Barne's "The Green Spring Valley" which has a whole chapter on the Cockeys -- also on the Dorseys, Owings, and many other of the families that settled in the Green Spring Valley north of Baltimore in the early times. There is a companion book printed at the same time that has pictures of the historic houses and their owners & families. The Cockeys of Maryland came to America sometime in the 1600s and many of them still live in the areas north and west of Baltimore.
Also, the Maryland Historical Society in Annapolis, Maryland (the Hall of Records) has many wills and other information on these families. They can be contacted on the internet.
