Hi Karen,
The Cocksedge and Stibbard I am seeking are used as christian names here in Norfolk, the surname is Potter. It pans like this, Youngs Potter (1779) married Sarah Cocksedge (1783) in Grimstone, Norfolk. They produced 3 children George (1812-1892) Joseph Cocksedge (1818) and Stibbard Cocksedge (1820) all Potter. Sorry but if only there is a connection to Essex. Oh! as an afterthought, there is a village called Stibbard (Norfolk)
Regards
Colin
