I am looking for information on Robert J Coffman born 17 March 1821 in Giles Co., Tn..parents are David Harmon Coffman Jr and Rhoda Anne Shelton. I BELIEVE he also spent some time in the Limestone Co., Al area or there abouts. He was saied to have been a Confederate solider in the Civil War POSSABLY a Alabama Regement, unsure. Dose any one know if Robert servied in the CW and where he enlisted if he did.......any info on his Civil war years would be very helpful. Robert J Coffman died 22 Step 1895 Giles Co, Tn, His brother Jesse J Coffman is my ggg grandfather. Will be happy to share and exchange any info I have on the Coffman tree. THANK YOU. MISS ROBIN
