Cav. however, there is no entry for him in the Alabama Archives database for Confederate soldiers. http://www.archives.alabama.gov/civilwar/search.cfm I found Robert in 1850 census in Franklin Co., AL. 1870 census in Limestone Co., AL 1880 census in Giles Co., TN I have some obits for some of his descendants.
