This may or may not be of much help to you. James Coile was born about 1801 and he married Sally (Elizabeth) Leonard who was born about 1798, probably the daughter of John Leonard. My great grandmother was Elizabeth Jane Coile, the sister of Lafayett. She married James Martin Hatcher and they lived in the Rocky Valley area near Lost Creek, Jefferson County, Tennessee. If you need the names of the other children (11) of James Coile, I will be glad to give you what I have. I have not been able to connect other Coile lines to James. I know they are in Virginia and North Carolina...just have not found the right documents. Hope this is of some help.
