Hello,
Yes, There are Colbo(u)rn(e) out here, but few and far between. I was born a COLBORNE myself but distant cousings go by COLBOURNE. I believe there are 22 variations of the name. So was it ST. Louis in Missiouri that you refer to?

I am 1st generation in CANADA,but my Colborne's come from DORSET, HAMPSHIRE. There are a lot of them there. I think that is the general area where the name came from. Since your father returned to the UK was it because he had family there?

Let me know

Lynn
London, Ontario
