There was a Sylvester Colborn(wife Susannah)who lived in Muncy Creek Township, Lycoming County, PA. They sold their property in 1804 and are believed to have moved to Niagra County, New York (Now Erie County). There are land transactions in the Amherst area near what is now Buffalo, Erie, NY. They show purchases of land by Silvester (or Sylvester) Colborn (Colburn). Sylvester died in the Buffalo area and his obituary appeared in a Buffalo Newspaper. When his will was probated, it showed one of his children living in Ontario, Canada, and the rest including his spouse residing in Michigan.
