Thanks for the information, sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. I have heard from Donna Colborn and I think there may be a link as she mentions twin boys with the same names as my dad's twin uncles. However further progress is slow. I have managed to contact a cousin in the States but heard nothing from her yet. My family definitely originated from Noble, Illinois where my dad's grandfather gambled and won a farm! According to my dad there is still a homecoming at Noble where the family Bible should be. One day I hope to see it! Good luck with your search and thanks again for the information.
