Prodigy is sometimes exasperating! I was working on a response to you when it cut me off mid-message.
Your best source should be any living descendants of Phillip and Iva Colborn. The US census is accessible up to 1920 and there are some libraries that have microfilm or micro fiche records. Try the nearest Family History of the Latter Day Saints (Mormons). They have more genealogical information than any other single source.
