Hello there,

Thanks for the E-mail you sent in September, just before the awful tragedy that hit New York. I hope and trust all is well with you and send my thoughts to the people in America.
I have chatted to many Americans online and found their bravery and attitude most heart warming. I think the bond between our two countries is bound to grow stronger from this awful event. Anyway I hope all is well with you.
As regards the Colborn research I have managed to find a couple of distant relatives in the U.S.A. I think we may have our wires crossed regarding Robert Colborn! The Robert Colborn I am referring to is my father Robert Wallace (born 1919) My intention is to locate living relatives. My father thinks the original Colborn of our family emigrated from Scotland around 1850, but we have no concrete evidence of this.
Anyway, thanks for the information you sent, it was very interesting and should any more new things crop up I hope we can keep in touch

Best Wishes Linda Cooper
