Colborn Family Genealogy Forum

What a lovely surprise to read your E-mail and all the information that you have supplied. It all fits in with what my father has told me. I did manage to get in touch with Cindy Neidringhaus by E-mail, who is Lois May's daughter and my cousin. However, after initial contact and despite writing to Lois May I have not heard from them again. I also managed to contact Dave Delzill, my dad's second cousin and he put me in touch with a couple more distant relatives. I'm sure my dad will be thrilled as I am to find another link. Any photos would be very much appreciated. We have pictures of our family in the States but I am not aware of any with dad's family on.
I used to write to grandpa Guy when I was a child and wish I had kept the letters, he came across as quite a character! My dad is also small in stature. I also used to write to Kathy Ann Colborn. Jim's daughter. I would dearly love to trace her too.
My dad told me about the reunions in Noble and how it was founded by the Colborns. He can tell some amusing stories about his ancestors. He also claims his dad Guy, had a brother known as Little Guy who was very tall and reverted to being a Red Indian. My sister Penny and I are really keen to find out as much as we can about our family, we have known so little being brought up in England and dad seems to have lost touch with everyone there.
Thanks again for contacting me. Let me know about yorself and any other things you may feel are relevant.
