My great-grandfather's name is Henry Culclager(s)...the surname is very tricky because at different times throughout his life, the spelling varies. A war registrant draft from 1918 lists his surname as "Culcledger." In that same generation, his brother, my great-uncle Harry, spelled his surname "Colcledger."
Eventually, he spelled the name "Culclagers." His son, my grandfather, dropped the "s," and now all my family spells it "Culclager."
He was born on June 23, 1897, was very fair skinned, and had grey/blue eyes. I believe he was born in Arkansas,Louisiana, or Mississippi...various census reports, and relatives' accounts, note different states. He lived in Jefferson County, Arkansas most of his life. Townships include Bogy and Plum (?) Bayou.
