Do you have any information on Emmanuel Colclazier married to Katherine Unk? He is the early ancestor that I have seen connected to this "Colclazier" spelling of the family name. Would like to share notes and compare early history.

The Colclaziers' that I have encountered thus far claim descendancy from Philip, son of Emmanuel. Philip is also said to be married to Mary Unk. Hopefully your posting will bring a renewed interest in the early research.

There is a lot of question and study needed for those first/ early immigrant ancestors in 1729 to Ephrata, Lancaster Co., PA and what became of all of them. Maybe now more discussion can resume on those early roots. You say your information was handed down. Is it from several generations back? Numerous collections of family history and stories have been passed down for various spellings of the family name. Hopefully you have some new stories to add as well? Welcome input from all.
thank you,
