My grandmother, Agnes Colclough, claimed to have been brought to America from Scotland with sister Nettie (and parents ??) by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Nettie married Grant Young (a descendant of the founder of the church, Brigham Young) and lived in Salt Lake City until the 1940's when they moved to Kentucky with their horses.

My Grandmother Agnes married Tom Wenner (Pennsylvania Dutch) from Scranton, PA and lived in Kansas City where he ran a sporting goods store and later, Salt Lake City (where my mother, now 94, was born) and Pittsburg, CA (during WWII). They all moved to Portland, OR in 1948 taking me and my divorced mom (my grand father ran Steel Mills). Grandparents retired to Salem, OR. G'ma lived with us in Canada (mom remarried in 1953 - moved north in 1956)in later years and finally in Yakima, WA where my mother still resides.
