Dear Mr. Coldiron,
My 3-great grandmother was Joanna (or Catherine) Coldiron born about 1814 in KY. She married James Waldon born about 1802 in South Carolina, about 1838 and they had a son William Mathis Waldon born Feb 22, 1844 in Jasper County, Missouri. I am descended from William Mathis.
My cousin remembers the name as Joanna. I remember my grandmother calling her Catherine. We have been unable to find any other information about her. If this is a Coldiron you seek, we have lots of information about her descendents!
