Rosanna, how wonderful to hear from you. It is rare in my research that I discover a relative as close to me as you; you and I are first cousins, twice removed. Your grandfather Earl Roscoe Coldiron and I are first cousins.

The Harvey Ledford Coldiron you mention was my uncle. I have visited his (and wife Effie's) gravesite in Van Huss Cemetery near Rose Hill, VA. His brother Otto (Sr.) was my father. All of your family is thus connected to the thousands of Coldirons we have documented in our 27+ years of research and are descendants of Johan Georg Kalteisen (George Coldiron) who came to America in 1750.

I will be contacting you via e-mail for additional discussion about the family. THANK YOU for the contact.

Otto G. Coldiron
