I recently received information that Colegrove/Colgrove was one of my family surnames. The connection would have to be through a marriage to a "French". I have the Frenches living in Chemung, Steuben and Tioga Counties in NY and Northumberland, Potter, McKean and Tioga Counties in PA. Dates from 1790 to 1936.
