Eunice Colgrove b~1787RI m.Otsego Co.,NY

Just wondering about one of my 5th-g Uncle's wife,.. He was Ephraim Dunham b.~1785 in MA or CT (I don't even think he knew where he was born) but, he married Eunice Colgrove (for some reason the "e" was dropped). I have been unable to determine which Colgrove is her father )in the town of Maryland or it's Village Schenevus however,) I do know that there was a Hannah Colgrove living with Eunice and Ephraim in 1850 and likely in 1840,.. Hannah was 61y old in 1850. I think I might be misinterpreting this whole thing,.. I mean, Hannah could be Ephraim's sister who m. an unknown Colgrove and was a widow by 1850(?)though I doubt it. They are in Dwelling #1 of the town of Maryland. "Children" of the household are:
Silas 32y (I don't know what happened to him)
Melissa 28y (she m. Andrew Platt)
Ann 22y (she m. her sister's husband)
Samuel H. 26y (he m. Mary Fellows)

There is an Asa Colegrove in that town who was close to her age,..b.~1884 RI,.. others in his household in 1850 are Eunice 63y b.CT, Jeremiah 46y b.NY, Dorr 22y b.NY, and Ruth 23y b.NY.

The names Dorr, Ruth, & Jeremiah come up in my Houghton line of this town but I don't know how they entered the line (Jeremiah is the only given name that I've seen carry through the lines). Wondering if perhaps Asa is brother to Eunice &/or Hannah,... and if there was a Houghton-Colegrove marriage that I've yet to find.

There is an Elizabeth/"Betsy" Colegrove b.~1795 NY living with Samuel & Betsey Brown in Dwelling 412 and a William Peck who is only 17y of age,...
Next door to them (still in the 1850 Census) is what I hope to be Eunice's father: Stephen Colegrove b.~1763 in CT with wife Polly b.~1770 in NY.

There are many more Colegrove residents in this town,... It's taking me forever to sort out my Houghtons, Dunhams, and Burnsides,... hoping someone can just let me know the names of my Ephraim Dunham's mother & father-in-law and sister & brother-in-laws. I'm still looking for all the children of Ephraim & Eunice,.. I think they had one more son but I think he died under the age of 15.

,... Rebecca
