I forgot that I had this information in another envelope from a trip I had made to NY,.. what I should have written in the above query is that I don't have any of the children of Andrew or the name of his wife.
Andrew, according to Bio Review "taught the first English school in Schoharie Co." Andrew "was born in Rhode Island, was married in that State, and removed to Schoharie Co. about the year 1780, where he was the pioneer school teacher, following that profession there a number of years. He owned a farm in Schoharie County, but in his later years sold this farm, and moved into the town of Maryland about 1804, and there bought a farm of 200 acres, upon which he died when about sixty years of age. His wife died at the home of their son Ephraim, when she was seventy-six." [I think they mean son-in-law] According to the book Andrew & his wife had 8 children who had all died by ~1893.
