According to "The Book", Oliver was the son of Eli, son of the immigrant Francis. The problem I have with this is that Oliver must have been born before 1711, if Eli indeed died in 1710 as is said. In turn, that means Oliver was at least 55 when he married, and then went on to have ten children. I think we have a missing generation, probably with the duplicate name of either Eli or Oliver. Perhaps Eli's son Eleazer is part of this mix-up.
