Have gotten a little additional since I had posted my first note. There was a son of Eli named Oliver, but this is not the correct one. Eli also had a son Eleazer, his youngest before his death. Son Eleazer had an Oliver. This was one of six children I know of and the only son. This Oliver was born between 1730 and 1741 (I haven't followed up to pin it down closer). Oliver of Eleazer was the one who married Esther Tefft. So there is the "missing" generation. He died intestate, as stated through RIGR 1:300, leaving widow and 13 children. I think there were 15 children and am guessing 2 died before him. I need to do more followup and appreciate any new info. Thanks for writing.
