Vital records prove the "book" wrong

I have recently researched most of the vital records in SW Rhode Island, and for the life of me cannot figure how the "book" came up with its info for the first couple generations.

Among the worst errors perpetuated by the book is the merging of Francis Sr's family with that of his ELDEST son Francis. Junior married Hannah Bailey. Similarly, it was the immigrant and wife who were baptised AS ADULTS in 1698 -- the Sabbatarians did not practise infant baptisms...
