I dont think I have found a connection yet, but I do know that my branch of the Colegrove family has been in KY/WV since the 1800's.

A fact I know is that Jeremiah Colegrove and Olive Stephens and one or two of Jeremiah Colegrove's brothers moved to Greenup County, KY

Jeremiah had children and one of them was Nathan Colegrove b. 1815-d. 1893 both in Greenup County.

Nathan had Melvin Colegrove (1844-1881) lived in Greenup County. He had other sons and daughters.

Melvin had Joseph Colegrove (1867-1929/30) lived in Greenup County and had other sons and daughters.

Joseph Colegrove had Howard (1893-1983) and Sherman. Howard lived in KY and WV. Howard had between 10-12 kids.
