My husband's mother's maiden name is Colegrove. We have traced the family back to Francis Colegrove, recorded as born in Swansea, Wales around 1667, 1st spouse unknown, second Hannah. He had sons named Stephen, Eli, Francis, John and William, and a daughter Elizabeth. We located a book on microfilm at the Family History Library (Mormon Church) written by a Colegrove around 1900-I apologize, I can't find the paperwork w/the name of it-but it gives the entire history from Francis on. My husbands mothers lineage follows Stephen to son-Benjamin to son-Stephen to son-Christopher to son-George Louis to son-Frank George to daughter-Helen to son, my husband, George Frederick. As best as we can tell, any Colegrove around are all related! We've been away from the research for a while, but would be interested in getting back into it. Would like to record living relatives as well.
