There were six boys in the family - George, William, John, Christopher, Charles and Daniel - and one daughter, Mary. George was the oldest. George married first Mary / May Gordon (maiden name unknown; she had been married before) in Iowa and second Ida E. Pickens in Allen County, Kansas. Mary / May is buried in the Gillham Cemetery in Allen County; she died 23 May 1886.

Who did Alta marry? I have the marriages for Clara Gordon, Winifred and Belva, but no record for Alta.

I am so excited to finally find someone else doing research on this particular Colgin line. I do have other information on Daniel and his family, but not much. Most of my information is centered on Christopher as he was my great-grandfather.
