Hi Frank,

My father was born in Palermo in 1895. It seems he left half of his family in New York when he brought his bride (who was born in Brooklyn) Anna Ferlito to Michigan. I know that he had brothers by the name of William, Michael and Philip and a sister who was married to a Pepitone. He also had sisters in Michigan by the name of Brooklier and Didia. It just struck my funny that you made reference to the name Colletta, because my Dad told me that in Italy that were called Colletta. Let me know if any of this rings true to you.
