Sharon,
Your info is just a little sketchy at this point. Do you know what particular province or village they came from? If not, do you know their immigration dates? If you have fairly accurate immigration dates, you can go to www.ellisislandrecords.com and look up the manifest. Most of the time, their original place of residence will be listed. The names you listed probably would be in Italian. Josephine = Giuseppa, Vitina (I'm guessing here) = Vincenza, Joseph = Giuseppe, and Andonina would most likely be Antonina. The women are generally listed by their maiden names so if you don't know them look for possible children and see if there is a woman traveling with them that has the first name you are looking for. Once you have determined where exactly they came from, then you can go to you local Church of Latter Day Saints Family History Center and order birth, death and marriage records for that province or village. The civil records date back to 1820 so you should be able to find them easily. If you have more detailed information, I will be glad to look through my information for possible matches.
Good luck,
Carol
