No, I cannot help directly. However, when you find out more information, you may be able to trace your Collisons to Ireland through the Transportation to Australia Records Database of the National Archives of Ireland, at http://www.nationalarchives.ie/cgi-bin/naisearch01http://www.nationalarchives.ie/cgi-bin/naisearch01.
There is a Patrick Collison listed there: age 21, date 3 Aug 1846, CRIME DESCRIPTION: Attempt to compel to give up ground, SENTENCE: Transportation 14 yrs commuted 7 yrs.
My Collisons migrated from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, Ireland, to Halton Co., Ontario, Canada. There were only a handful of Collisons in Ireland in 1850 - most of whom lived near Nenagh and in the southern part of Queens Co. (Co. Offaly).
I hope this is useful. Good luck in your research!
