I have only one Hugh Culver in my data but have been concentrating on pre 1800 births. I have Hugh Culver, son of Michael b. 1784 New Jersey, son of John b. 1768 New Jersey. John travelled with his children to Norfolk Co. and most of the family resided there for many years. This may be your Hugh or father of. Sorry I have no more details than this but here is a wealth of information on this family in the Norfolk or Haldimand County historical societies.
