Lewis and Clark Descendants
The Third Annual Camp River Dubois Descendant's Mess will be held on Friday September 22, 2006 at the Lewis and Clark State Historic Site at 5:30 PM. We are starting at this time to allow everyone a chance to view the other programs occurring at the Lewis and Clark State Historic Site that evening. http://www.campdubois.com/http://www.campdubois.com/
The Camp River Dubois Descendant's Mess is open to Corps of Discovery descendants. All enlistees will receive a certificate of attendance. Light refreshments will be served and all attendees will receive a Christmas ornament as a gift. All descendants in attendance will have the opportunity to address the other descendants in attendance.
This is the final year of the Bicentennial and provides a final opportunity for Descendants to celebrate their unique legacy in American history. Please help to spread the word to any Descendants you meet. To enroll or request more information please send an email to [email protected] or call me at 618-656-4709 (after 6 PM on weeknights). Anyone wishing to volunteer in planning or at the event may also contact me.

Mike Kaufman – a descendant of Toussaint Charbonneau - is a member of the L&C Society of America and a great point of contact for information concerning the Descendant’s Mess.
I will be coming all the way from Washington State to attend.
Respectfully, Catherine Jett (descendant of JOHN COLTER of the L&C Expedition)
