According to the official records in Wigtown Scotland, Patrick Coltran married Elizabeth Stewart on 30 Apr 1702 in Glasserton, Scotland.

Their children were as follows: (all born in Wigtown, Scotland)
John-christened 11 Mar 1703
David-christened 24 Jun 1707
Robert-christened 09 July 1708
Alexander-christened 28 Jun 1709
Thomas-christened 10 Aug 1710
David-christened 7 Sept 1711 (evidently the first David had died)
