I really don't know much about the Physgal Stewarts.
There is a book that was published on the Physgal
Stewarts but I have never seen it. I have been told
that it has a chapter in it about the Coltrane's.

You mentioned that you were going to Wigtown over
Christmas. You can take a drive down to the Isle
of Whithorn and eat at the Steam Packet. The lady
that owns this place is the present owner of
Drummoral (farm owned by William Coltrane). She let
us go out there walk over it. Physgal House is also in the same area. It is still owned by
a Stewart today.

A good base in Scotland is Moffat. It's about an
hour south of Edinburgh. It is my favorite place
in Scotland. There is a great woolen mill outlet
there and also the Mare's Tail. Make sure you eat
at the Boars Head Pub.

I hope you have a great trip!!
