William Coltrane addenda:
William married Rachel Worthington in 1761 in Rowan County, NC. It may be that all 9 of their children were born in Rowan County before they moved west to Guilford (Randolph ) County. William went to the courthouse in Guilford and had the names of his children recorded. Their names are: David, born 8 May 1762; Abigail, born 26 June 1764; Jacob, born 15 December 1766; Mary, born 22 May 1769; James, born 11 November 1771; William, born 1774; Daniel, born 22 December 1780; Rachel, born about 1782; and Amey Jemima, born about 1784
