Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

You may be interested in my article, "Scots for Sale," which will appear in the Winter 2003 issue (January 2003) of New England Ancestors magazine (with an extended version of the article to be posted online at the website of the New England Historic Genealogical Society, www.newenglandancestors.org). My article traces the fate of 17th Century Scottish war prisoners exiled to New England by Cromwell after the 1651 Battle of Worcester -- and David Comee of Concord, Massachusetts, is highlighted.
