So far as I know, no one has documentation that links these people, although we all seem to think it likely that they are linked. Rawleigh Condra of California, with whom I have been in contact over the years, has worked hard on finding such documentation, by hiring professional researchers to dig through the Virginia archives. I have copies she has sent me of their work, which shows a handful of Condra/Condry families in Fauquier, Chesterfield, and other counties that surely have some connection. But most of these records show land transactions, and none that I have seen show wills, birth records, or other documents that would certainly link the generations. We know from his sworn testimony that William Condry (the "Indian Spy") was born in 1757 Fauquier County, VA, and we know from land transactions that an older Richard Condry was there at the time, and we know that a Richard Condry who might be the father of William and his brother Dennis was involved in multiple land transactions in Grainger County and its parent counties at the same time that Dennis and William were in that area. And we know that James and Benjamin Elijah Condry were also there. So there is at least a good chance that the father of William and Dennis was Richard. And if they are brothers of your James, then... And so on. But William, Dennis, and John (who like Dennis was at the settlement of Nashville in 1781) might be cousins of your James, with a different father. Lots of possibilities, but no definite links yet, unless someone out here has a document we have not seen.
By the way, I urge anyone who has access to North Carolina records to look at the will of Richard Condry in 1806 in Beaufort County, NC. That will might show evidence of the parentage of these people. I have seen it listed in an index, but have not yet seen the text of the will.
A final caution. Your James cannot have been born in Marion County, TN in 1760 or 1761. Marion was formed much later from one of the Cherokee land cessions (1817, I think), and in 1761 the only white people there would have been the very few traders. It is true that some Condra/Condry families are mentioned on a map of 1806 in the land that became Marion County while it was still part of the Cherokee Nation, so they were among the very earliest people of white blood there. And there is a possibility that those Condras, whose first names we do not know, were of mixed blood. And it is true that there are two men named James Condra in Marion in 1830, both of the age to be your James. Either of these might be the unnamed Condras living there in 1806.
