The following obit is not someone I am researching. My mother kept clippings and so did her father. I trying to put some of this online in hopes of helping others.
Barbara Lucinda, daughter of J.M. and Barbara Dorothy Richards, was born February 28, 1874 near Goodson, Polk County, Missouri. She passed away Sunday morning January 21, 1951 at 3:40 o'clock at her home in Buffalo at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 7 days.
She was united in marriage to John H. Condren, September 25, 1898. To this union two children were born: Mrs. Leonard Perryman of Buffalo and Dwight Condren of Cross Timbers, Mo. She was converted January 28, 1899 and unitd with the New Hope Baptist Church, later moving her membership to the First Baptist Church at Buffalo, MO.
They lived on the same farm six miles North of Buffalo for over 52 years and just recently moved to Buffalo.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband and two children, also three grandchildren; Barbara Lee Perryman, John Leonard Perryman and Lendol Dean Condren; three brothers, Joe Richards of Goodson, Mo.; Lum Richards, of Ralston, Oklahoma and Len Richards of Louisburg, Mo. Also a host of other relatives and friends.
Her father and mother and two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 22, 1951 at the Baptist Church in Buffalo. Rev. J. E. Jackson officiating assisted by Rev. E.H. Michalkowsky. Burial in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of L.B. Jones and Son.
