I have a newspaper clipping dated Jan 3, 1917, describing the "Ruby Wedding Anniversary" of Jerome LAWTON and Eliza CONGER LAWTON.

Among the guests, there is reference to "Mrs. Lawton's (Eliza Conger) brother Charles Le Roy of Pittston, PA, who was best man at the wedding forty years ago".

I have a family genealogy written by Eliza (my g-grandmother) in 1907. In it, she does not mention "Charles Le Roy".

I have not been able to find any other reference of this man.

Does anyone on the list know anything about him?
