Hi Ron.

Understand your point about the term "Uncle", but the newspaper clipping dated Jan 3, 1917, that is the 40th Anniversary announcement of Eliza & Jerome Lawton specifically says: "Mrs. Lawton's brother, Charles Le Roy of Pittston, PA, who was best man at the wedding forty years ago, was also among the guests." To me, that makes him a Conger unless I am really missing the boat someplace.

I have the <original> clipping, not a copy so there is no mistaking what is written there. It is very clear. So I continue to search for the elusive Charles Le Roy...
